There are a number of areas currently being work on. For your own safety please observe notices and work signs. Keep dogs on leads and children under close control.
Due to a change in the regulations and an increase in the power running through the pylon lines further felling work will be carried out at some point during the winter period, this will be carried out by Fountains forestry. No date has been set for this work. Ongoing
The other areas currently under management are the section of coppice at the very top of the Little Hyden foot path. Ongoing
We have know started work on an area between the bridal path and the footpath.
There will also be coppicing work being carried out under contract in the fenced area north of the bridal path as well as felling along little hyden lane foot path to allow light in onto the ground. |
